A studio favorite happens every day during our "Open Art Table" time, an hour to play with new techniques, supplies and art mediums.
This time is not about perfectionism, it is all about play, exploration, trial-and-error and developing healthy creative attitudes and practices.

Art Table
The Art Table Café area of Soul & Story Creative is a place to slow down, enjoy a drink and snack, and make something beautiful.
Choose from our menu of creative art experiences, settle in at one of our quaint cafe tables, and create at your own pace with all the supplies and tools provided at your table.
Paint, collage, draw, bead, sculpt….there is something for everyone on our art menu.
Perfect for quiet afternoons, date nights, family outings, small groups and gathering with friends—because creativity flourishes together around the table.

WATERCOLOR
Watercolor Basics.....................$25
Create (1) 8x10 and (2) art pieces using guided prompts or your own ideas. Includes watercolor paper, take-home palette, and inspiration card.
Watercolors Plus.........................$30
Create (1) 8x10 piece as described above using premium supplies. Includes Arches paper and Daniel Smith paint.
Painted Bookmarks....................$25
Design and paint (3) custom bookmarks; finish by laminating and tying with ribbon, fibers, and / or recycled fabric as desired.
Watercolor Swatch Books.........$30
Create a colorful and unique swatch book using the range of colors in your watercolor palette. Includes swatch booklet, paints, brushes, and instructions.
PASTELS
Chalk Pastels.................................$35
Play with chalk pastels and create a colorful art piece. Includes paper, take-home chalk pastel set, and spray fixative.
Wax Pastels & Crayons..............$35
Play with wax pastels and create a colorful art piece. Includes paper, take-home wax pastel set, and spray fixative.
GOUACHE
Basic Gouache...........................$25
Create an 8x10 gouache piece using guided prompt cards or your own ideas. Includes watercolor paper, gouache, brushes, and an inspiration card.
PAPER ARTS
Collage Art.................................$25
Use paper to piece together a one-of-a-kind collage piece. Includes a sketchbook (take-home), glue stick and various papers, die-cuts, and collage elements.
Art Journal.................................$30
Express your creative self in journal form using a variety of markers. Prompts provided or you can carve out your own creative path. Includes a blank art journal to take home.
Handmade Cards....................$20
Design and create two one-of-a-kind greeting cards to send to someone needing a bit of handmade joy. Includes blank cards, envelopes, and a variety of embellishments. We'll even throw in a stamp for mailing!
Origami.......................................$20
Try your hand at creating paper objects using Asian-inspired folding techniques. Includes 10 origami papers with instructions.
Drawing + Sketching..............$30
Draw and sketch to your heart's content. Includes sketchbook and graphite drawwing set for you to take home and keep.
CANVAS + ACRYLIC
Painted Canvas..........................$25
Paint an 8x10 painted canvas of layered landscape or other subject of your choice. Includes canvas, acrylic paints, brush, and an inspiration card.
Painted Canvas..........................$20
Paint (2) 3x4 or 5x5 mini canvases to display at home or give as gifts. Includes canvas, acrylic paint, and one tiny display easel.
SPECIALTY
Air Dry Clay...............................$25
Sculpt two clay creations out of color-dyed air dry clay. Includes 2 pre-designed air dry clay kits.
Beaded Bracelets.....................$25
Create 3 beaded bracelets, maybe one to keep and two to give away, or even just three to keep! Includes beads and cord.
Tiny Diary/Journal.................$30
Create a tiny leather diary / journal using a variety of art tools including markers, paint, drawing, and word-writing. Your take-home journal has many pages to draw and write tiny bits of life.
Mask-Making...........................$30
Transform a simple paper-mache mask form into a unique mixed-media art piece using paint, paper pieces, and a variety of creative embellishments. Express your inner and outer self.

Anytime the studio is not hosting an event or workshop, you are welcome to reserve a table or drop-in for some creative time.
